The National Disability Insurance Scheme was launched in the Barwon area in Victoria in July 2013. The great news is that there is now noone on the waiting list in the Barwon area!
All Disability funding is set to become individualised over the next several years. That means that if you are receiving an ISP (Individualised Support Package) or AQA Respite package you will be able to choose a provider that best meets your needs. This roll out begins on July 2016.
The regions below transition during the following periods.
AQA Qualcare is a registered service provider with the National Disability Insurance Agency which means that you are able to continue to receive the services that you know and trust from us. Exisiting clients can contact your Service Coordinator with any questions about the NDIS.

Now is the time to start thinking about your current support package and whether it is meeting your needs. When you meet with your National Disability Insurance Agency Planner it will be important to identify your goals and any service gaps so that they can be included in your future package of supports. The attached Planning Booklet is a step by step guide to planning your services under the NDIS.
